
Ingredients:
Fish – 2 lb
Onion – 3/4th of one onion, sliced
Tomato – 3 nos. sliced
Green chilli – 3 nos. halved
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Chilli powder – ½ tsp
Garlic – 6 cloves (whole)
Curry leaves
Salt
Oil
Preparation:
Heat the oil, add curry leaves, garlic and cook it for a minute. Now add the onion, green chilli and sauté them. To that, add the tomatoes and cook it well. Stir in the spices and place the fish in it. Pour 2 cups of hot water and salt for your taste and cook it through.
Note: To add a stronger color and taste to your dish, you can add ½ tsp tamarind
paste to it.
Tip: If you are an onion lover, you can substitute whole pearl onions for regular
onion.
