
Ingredients:
Ground chicken, turkey or mutton – 1 lb
Onion - 1/3 cup (finely chopped)
Potato – 1 medium sized, cooked well and mashed
White mushrooms chopped – 1 cup (optional)
Egg – 1 no
Breadcrumbs (plain) – 3 tbsp
Ground pepper – 4 tsp
Ginger – ½ tbsp (finely chopped or ground)
Cilantro – 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
Ground cinnamon, cloves, cardamom – ½ tsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Oil
Salt
Preparation:
In a mixing bowl combine all the ingredients except oil. Shape mixture into 15 patties. Fry them on both sides over medium heat.
Note: If you have a cast iron skillet , you can use that for a crisp texture.
Tip : 1.Place the cutlet and your kid’s favorite cheese slice, ketchup between 2
burger buns and pack them as his/her school lunch.
2.You can make clean shapes of the cutlets with a mould sprayed with
non stick cooking spray. |
