
Ingredients:
Eggs – 5 nos
Cumin seeds – 1tsp
Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Chilli powder – ½ tsp
Salt
Oil
Preparation:
Hard cook the eggs, peel apart the shell and cut them into halves. In a medium skillet heat the oil, splutter mustard and cumin seeds. Add the turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt. Now reduce the heat to low and place the eggs with the yolk side down. Coat the eggs with the oil and the spices and immediately remove from heat and transfer it to another plate.
Note: Do not place the eggs on high heat that they may be burnt.
Tip: Top each serving with a tsp of plain yogurt or sour cream and serve as a
snack or appetizer.
