Ingredients:
Sweet potato – 2 nos. (medium Size)
Frozen green peas – 2 cups
Onion – ½ the onion chopped
Ground black pepper – 1½ tsp
Urad dal (white lentils) – 1½ tsp
Lemon juice – ½ tbsp
Salt
Oil
Preparation:
Heat the oil in a skillet, add the urad dal and sauté the onion. Add the sweet potato and half cook it with very little water. Now add the green peas and cook it uncovered for another 5 minutes. At last add the lemon juice and season it with salt and pepper.
Note: You can substitute ground pepper for chilli powder if you would like.
Tip: This dish can also be used as a stuffing for samosas.
