Shrimp – 1 lb (raw, peeled)

Spinach – 1 bunch (roughly chopped)

Milk – ½ cup

Onion – half of 1 onion chopped

Tomato – 3 nos (medium size, chopped)

Green chile – 2 nos

Ginger root – a small piece (chopped)

Cardamom powder – ½ tsp (optional)

Turmeric powder – ½ tsp

Chile powder – 1 tsp

Salt

Oil

Preparation:

To a blender add the spinach, green chile, ginger, milk and blend them together until smooth. Now heat the oil and add the cardamom powder and onion and cook until soft. Add the tomato and cook it for1 minute. Stir in the turmeric powder and chile powder. Add the shrimps, spinach mixture and salt and cook it through.

Note: Shrimp should always be cooked quickly in order to

          preserve their sweet, delicate flavors.

When they are pink, they are cooked.

Tip:  For even more creamy taste, you can add whole

milk with the spinach in the blender.
